On Friday 19th September we welcome Flamin’ Haggis to the Salmon Bothy for our regular monthly Folk Club meeting
Reuben Henderson (voice, guitar) and Owen O’Connor (whistle, Highland and Uilleann pipes, melodeon) met through SC&T Youth, where they have learnt about groupwork, instrumentation, stagecraft and the Scottish folk repertoire.
They love busking together in Portsoy and Stonehaven and have picked up the confidence to compose their own songs and tunes alongside their favourite trad and modern folk sets.
There will of course be plenty time for a minimum of 2 songs or tunes from floor performers.
Doors open 7pm. £5 entry.
