1. I am part of an East Kilbride based musical duo called ’50 Shades of Blue’ and we would love to come and play at your Festival at the end of May. We are a folk/Americana band.

   I write all our material, sing and play guitar and my partner sings and plays cajon, bodhran, washboard, spoons, bongo…and anything else he can get a rhythm from. We also cover well known folk and chorus songs.

   We have being working hard playing at festivals, folk clubs, Art Centers and bars and are always looking for new venues. We won the song-writing competitions at Glenfarg Folk Feast, Girvan Folk Festival and Selkirk Music festival. We also won the busking competition at Balerno Folk festival and the open stage at Denholm- where we opened the evening concert for Chris While and Julie Matthews. We have also supported the likes of Sean Grey of the Paul Mckenna band, Ivan Drever, Kristan Harvey and a few weeks ago we played on the Danny Kyle stage as part of Celtic Connections.

      My shows are mainly the Traditional Songs of the UK & Ireland along with the odd Blues/Americana or self-penned song for good measure.

   After 30 years of being London based I am living in Perthshire full -time now so anytime you can fit me in would be good.

4. We were planning on coming to your music festival for the forst time this year.Are there open jamming sessions in pubs etc during the festival or does festival consist of tickets organised concerts.
   Also are there camping facilities close by with public showers.
