The Wilson Family is a tight-knit group of siblings known for their rich folk harmonies and natural blending of voices. With Pat as the eldest and only sister, followed by brothers Tom, Chris, Steve, Ken, and Mike, their shared upbringing shaped their distinctive sound. Their youngest sibling, Jackie, always preferred to stay
behind the scenes.
Though singing wasn’t a daily focus, family gatherings, especially around Christmas and New Year were full of music. Their harmonies evolved organically from sibling dynamics, with each voice naturally finding its place.
Over the years, they have become respected figures in the folk world, carrying forward a tradition that is both spontaneous and heartfelt. As their late mother’s life was celebrated with a grand “big sing” so too does their music continue to celebrate family, heritage, and the spirit of folk tradition.
